1915 BAUSCH & LOMB Optical HRM Balopticon Projector 120v Postcard Projector

Description

Up for sale is a 1915 BAUSCH & LOMB Optical HRM Balopticon Projector 120v Postcard Projector.  This is an antique projector used for projecting postcards, photos, etc. on the wall or a screen. This was the "home" version of the projector. These home versions are a little less complicated to operate than the bellows version. There is an adjustable lens on the front of the projector that your turn. It goes in and out and adjusts the picture focus. You can see the last pic where I was projecting my water bill on my photography backdrop (ok, not the best subject to show this off). Some of the other projectors would shine the light THROUGH things (glass slides, etc.). This one reflects the postcard or image off a mirror similar to an overhead projector at school back in the old days. It's in very good physical shape. Seems to be original paint to me. Works (as shown in pics). Has a replacement wire with a built in on/off switch for turning the light off. I think it may have originally had a "carrier" to place the photo/postcard in and slide underneath the projector, but I am not sure. That part is not included. There is a little pan underneath the projector that is spring loaded and drops down a little for putting photo/postcard in and out. Needs a little cleaning for sure to optimize image. I will combine shipping on any of my other auctions to save you on shipping. I do not try to make money on shipping. I want to simply cover my costs.
