    Description

Note: This listing is for one sign only. I currently have the second one in my personal collection and won't be selling it. You will be purchasing the single sign photographed. Thanks!
    Type: Business Bank Sign
    ***Hand Painted

Motor Bank: This is an old term used for a drive-up or drive-thru Bank lane. The Motor Bank was first used in the 1930's in Missouri.
Provenance of Ownership: This sign came from a large collection. The prior owner (lived to be 99 years old) was a Bank Owner that collected all kinds of Antiques. I actually believe that these were off of his first Bank. I will be listing more in a couple of weeks.
Era: 1930's (During the first years of Drive ups)-1940's (WWII Era)
***This sign has been Long Wave 395nm Black Light tested (confirmed). These also compare to known originals from the collection.
