Description
Rare and early, circa 1930 riveted tin can PARIS GLASS double sided neon sign. Believed to be from Paris, Illinois. The sign is large and very heavy. Approximate dimensions of the can are 42" wide x 92 1/2" tall x 8 1/4". These dimensions do not include brackets, pole, standoffs, tubes, or the light on the top. Overall dimensions as pictured are approximately 54" x 97" x 13". Tubes are not working, but can be used for patterns. Offered as found and uncleaned. Paint loss on all sides. Bottom inspection cover is missing. Loss to metal on both sides of bottom. Some standoffs are broken, bent, and missing. One insulator is missing. One has a broken rim. There are scrapes, dents, and holes in the can from wear and tear. For parts or restoration only. See images.
