An early hand painted stenciled wooden arrow shaped sign. This one is advertising Hancock Michigan MI Auto Club. The sign measures 35-1/2" x 5-1/2". Good condition as shown all original with some scattered surface wear and a small notch of wood cut out of one of the arrow fins. Very nice early hand painted and stenciled piece from an early American Automobile Club. Untouched and just as I found it in a collection last year. Very nice early wood sign with a folk art trade sign look to it. Unsure of the exact age but it certainly shows plenty of age from use.
