BEAUTIFUL HAND-TIED, "SQUIRREL AND TEAL" PATTERN WET FLY
This particular fly is, as found, from the private collection of my late father, William Cushner fly plate designer, framer, geometric artist and collector. His signature fly plates are now in the collections of the AMFF in Manchester VT, the Atlantic Salmon Museum in Doaktown NB and in personal collections.  The fly is in excellent condition. The fly will be enclosed, well packaged, in the small container pictured and then in it's padded mailing envelope.  **Item will be mailed out on Tuesday, Nov. 1**
I'll post only a few words on Harry Lemire (1932-2012) as I'm sure most who are interested in his flies are familiar with this exceptional tyer and this particular fly pattern.  One of his most famous patterns was the Grease Liner, which he originated.  He was a member of the Washington State Steelhead Flyfishers and the Northwest Atlantic Salmon Fly Tying Guild.  He was given the Fly Tying Hall of Fame Award in 2008 by the WSCFFI and there is a short article on their website.  Wonderful article titled

As a form of provenance, shown are photos of the book page from the estate appraisal performed in 1992 by Alec Jackson, notable fly tier and fisherman.  These photos are for reference only.  Included with purchase will be a signed note stating this fly is from the William Cushner private collection and sold to you.
