    Description

MORPHO RHETENOR RHETENOR form "CACICA",  in A1 condition. The nominate subspecies of M.rhetenor, is rare enough, in the jungles of Guyana. But, this rare variation, with the marginal row of white spots on each forewing, is often called
"cacica" ( "The Chief" in Latin ). It measures 100 to 120 mm wingspan, and it is very rare, in A1 grade. It is almost never represented in even the most complete, and extensive collections of Morphidae. This is an expertly papered  unspread, near perfect specimen of this
fabulous beauty. Only a few are available.
