    Description

Small Hookbill Cuisine is a high-quality seed-based diet for Small to Medium Parrots. It's a great base diet with lots of dried fruits and vegetables for birds ranging from the size of a Lovebird or Parrotlet to a Pionus Parrot (although the birds in the smaller end of the range sometimes will leave a lot of the bigger pieces and prefer our Cockatiel Cuisine.). We have served this diet to our birds for years and I ship to many customers around the country who have moved away and are unable to find any mix their birds enjoy as much as this. Small Hookbill Cuisine contains NO Peanuts in shell and NO Sunflower Seeds in shell. We get this mix directly from the manufacturer and go through several hundred pounds per week, so the mix we send you will be extremely fresh.
    Ingredients:
Safflower, Buckwheat, Hulled Peanuts, Canary, Hulled Sunflower, Oat Groats, Carrots, Pumpkin Seeds, Dates, Raisins, Coconut Chips, Apple Dices, Dehydrated Peas, Papaya, Red Bell Peppers, Kibble, Pineapple Granules, Hemp, Blueberries, Apricot, Cherries, Corn, Orange Peel.
Because I offer FREE SHIPPING, I have to make every attempt to ship as inexpensively as possible and frequently that means using USPS Priority Mail Flat-Rate. If you are ordering 5 lb, you will most likely be getting your order in a Priority Mail Flat-Rate Padded Envelope. PLEASE OPEN THE ENVELOPE CAREFULLY as I'm unable to fit a sealed 5 lb. bag of food in the envelope, we simply pour the food directly into the envelope and seal it up tight. It works great, just be careful when you open the envelope - be sure to do it over a box or a large bowl - most people just cut a hole in the corner and pour it into a container. If you are getting 20 lb. you will be getting either one box, sent via FedEx Ground or two boxes sent Priority Mail. For many 20 lb shipments, the cheapest way is to pack the 20 lbs into 2 Priority Mail Medium Flat-Rate Boxes with 10 lbs in each. The seed fits best if I split it into 3 bags in each box. If 20 lb at once is more than your storage space can handle at one time, I have no problem shipping the first 10 lb box immediately and sending your second box in a couple weeks or whenever you are ready.
