    Description

    Offered here is a vintage advertising thermometer / sign. The front face is made of tin, wrapped over cardboard. (TOC) It pictures two packs of cigarettes, and reads: "WINSTON...the taste is tops...PACK or BOX." It does not have a date, but I think this was made in the 1960's - give or take. It measures just under 9 inches wide. I would call the overall condition GOOD, but please read the description, see the pictures, and make your OWN grade. The temperature reading seems fairly accurate. (I put it in the freezer and the reading went way down. When I removed it, the reading returned to room temperature.) It is slightly bent - not too badly. It has some scratches, paint nicks, and just a few rust spots.The cardboard backing is a bit warped. The colors are very slightly faded. It still displays very nicely, and is guaranteed to be old & original, or your money back.
